New mesh aims to improve breast reconstruction safety and appearance

Summary
This study tests a new acellular matrix (a supportive mesh) used with breast implants for immediate reconstruction after mastectomy. The goal is to see if it is safe and helps maintain breast shape and function. One hundred women born female who need breast reconstruction will be enrolled and followed for complications and cosmetic results.
