NCT ID NCT06452394
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is for people with early-stage ER+/HER2- breast cancer. It tests whether adding doxycycline, a safe and inexpensive antibiotic, to standard chemotherapy can better target cancer stem cells—cells that may cause the cancer to come back. About 50 participants will receive doxycycline alongside their usual chemo before surgery. The goal is to see if this combination improves the chance of eliminating all cancer cells.
