Summary
This study tests a treatment plan for people with esophageal cancer that hasn't spread. Before surgery, patients receive chemotherapy, radiation, and two immunotherapy drugs (pembrolizumab and lenvatinib) to shrink tumors and boost the immune system's attack on cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can eliminate all cancer cells before surgery. The study is for adults with non-metastatic esophageal or gastroesophageal junction cancer.
