New combo before surgery shows promise for advanced colon cancer

Summary
This study tests giving chemotherapy and an immunotherapy drug before surgery for people with locally advanced colon cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can make the tumor disappear completely and improve long-term survival. About 56 participants will receive the treatment combination followed by standard surgery.
