New wound dressing could cut surgery complications

Summary
This study tests a special vacuum dressing (negative pressure wound therapy) on adults who had emergency abdominal surgery. The goal is to see if it reduces wound problems like infection or reopening compared to regular dressings. About 720 participants will be followed to compare outcomes.
