First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether a needle-free injection system can make tooth extractions less stressful for children aged 6 to 12 compared to a traditional dental syringe. Sixty healthy kids needing a primary tooth pulled will be randomly assigned to receive local anesthesia via needle-free jet injection or a standard needle. Researchers will measure anxiety, pain, and vital signs before, during, and after the procedure to see which method is more comfortable.
