Summary

This study tests whether breathing in a combination of three medications (furosemide, heparin, and hypertonic saline) can reduce lung injury in adults with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) who are on a breathing machine. The trial will involve 344 participants in the ICU. The goal is to see if this inhaled treatment improves lung function and reduces complications from the ventilator.
