NCT ID NCT04821453
First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested two ways of helping babies with severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia (a serious lung condition) breathe using a machine. It compared a standard method to a newer one that senses the baby's own breathing signals. The goal was to see if the newer method improves oxygen levels and comfort. The study was stopped early and included 12 infants born very early.
