Summary
This study tested a 6-week school program designed to prevent anxiety and depression in American Indian children. 28 children in grades 3-6 from a tribal reservation took part. The program was adapted to include local culture and traditions. Researchers measured changes in anxiety and depression symptoms to see if the program was helpful and well-liked.
