Summary
This study is testing a community program designed to help Native Hawaiians manage common health conditions like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. The program combines education on traditional diets and lifestyles with cooking demonstrations. Researchers will enroll 180 Native Hawaiian adults and their households to see if this approach improves diet quality, weight, and other health markers over a year.
