Summary
This study tested a program called 'Wakȟáŋyeža' (Little Holy One) designed to support Native American families. It aimed to help caregivers manage stress and trauma, improve their parenting skills, and promote healthy emotional development in their young children (ages 2-5). The goal was to reduce future risks for problems like suicide and substance use in the children by strengthening family well-being early in life.
