Sniff away the pain? study tests nasal sprays for finger injuries

NCT ID NCT07305883

Summary

This study aims to see which of two pain-relief nasal sprays works better for reducing discomfort before a finger-numbing injection in the emergency room. Adults with finger injuries will be randomly given either a ketorolac or ketamine nasal spray five minutes before the procedure. Researchers will measure pain levels, side effects, and patient satisfaction to find a quick, needle-free pain management option.
