New therapy trial aims to ease psychosis symptoms through trauma processing

NCT ID NCT07237529

Summary

This study is testing whether Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), a type of talk therapy that helps people process traumatic memories, is practical and helpful for adults with psychosis who have experienced trauma. Participants will work with a therapist and complete regular questionnaires about their symptoms. The main goal is to see if this therapy approach is feasible and if it might help reduce symptoms of psychosis, post-traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety.
