First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether four short, guided conversations with a trained nurse can lower anxiety and improve breastfeeding confidence in mothers who have a planned C-section. About 160 women will be randomly assigned to either standard care or standard care plus these nurse-led chats. The main goal is to measure anxiety levels two days after surgery, with follow-ups on mood and breastfeeding success up to three months later.
