Can your own fat erase acne scars? new study tests combo treatments
NCT ID NCT07471854
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares three ways to treat facial acne scars: injecting nanofat (a processed form of your own fat) alone, or combined with either platelet-rich fibrin (a blood concentrate) or microneedling. About 42 adults with moderate to severe scars will receive treatment on both cheeks. The goal is to see which method works best and is safest for improving scar appearance.
