Nanochip could spot lymphoma relapse early
NCT ID NCT03656835
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This pilot study is testing a nanochip (ILN biochip) to see if it can monitor how well treatment is working and detect relapse in people with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. About 73 patients will provide blood samples for the chip to analyze genetic markers. The goal is to find out if this technology can predict treatment outcomes and catch a return of the cancer sooner than standard methods.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
nanochip technology (ILN biochip)
What this could lead to
If successful, this nanochip could help doctors track how well lymphoma treatment is working and catch a relapse earlier than current methods.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study with only 73 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The technology is still experimental and needs much more testing before it could be used in clinics.
