Oxygen-boosting drug aims to make radiation more effective against deadly brain cancer

Summary

This study tests a drug called NanO2, given through an IV, to see if it can deliver more oxygen to brain tumors and make radiation therapy work better. About 87 adults with newly diagnosed glioblastoma will receive NanO2 or a placebo along with standard radiation and chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the drug helps people live longer without their cancer growing.
