Summary
This study looked at how common and severe fatty liver disease is in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers used advanced MRI scans to measure liver fat, inflammation, and scarring. 317 patients were checked twice, three years apart, to see how the disease changes over time. The goal was to better understand who gets worse and why.
