Summary
This study aimed to understand the financial and personal impact of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in Belgium. Researchers surveyed 73 adult patients with NAFLD to calculate their healthcare expenses and measure how the disease affected their quality of life. The goal was to gather data to help inform future healthcare planning and resource allocation for this common condition.
