Summary

This study tested a new combination of chemotherapy drugs (nab-paclitaxel, cisplatin, and fluorouracil) followed by standard radiation and chemo in 60 people with advanced nasopharyngeal cancer, a type of throat cancer common in southern China. The goal was to see if this approach is safe and effective at shrinking tumors. Participants received the drug combo first, then radiation plus cisplatin. The study was completed and measured tumor response, survival, and side effects.
