Summary
This study tested whether N-Acetylcysteine, a common supplement, could protect colorectal cancer patients from nerve damage caused by the chemotherapy drug oxaliplatin. 46 adults with stage II or III colorectal cancer took part. Researchers measured neuropathy symptoms and inflammation to see if the supplement helped reduce side effects.
