First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tested a device called MyoRegulator® to see if it can safely reduce muscle stiffness in the lower leg after a stroke. 44 adults who had a stroke at least 6 months ago and had leg spasticity received either real or sham treatment for 5 days. The main goal was to measure changes in stiffness right after treatment, with follow-ups on walking ability for up to 3 months.
