Gentle hand exercises may boost recovery after tendon surgery

NCT ID NCT07233369

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether myofascial release exercises (a type of gentle stretching) can improve pain, grip strength, and hand function in people who have had surgery to repair a hand flexor tendon. About 42 adults aged 18-65 who had this surgery will be split into two groups: one doing myofascial release plus standard therapy, and the other doing standard therapy alone. The goal is to see if adding these exercises leads to better recovery.
