Simple stretches may ease radiation side effects in breast cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT06764394

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether myofascial release exercises (a type of gentle stretching) can help breast cancer patients who have had radiation therapy. 30 women who had breast cancer surgery and were about to start radiation took part. The goal was to see if these exercises could reduce pain, improve shoulder movement, and make the chest muscle less tight. The results could offer a simple way to feel better during recovery.
