Summary
This study is testing if adding the drug siltuximab to a personalized dose of chemotherapy (melphalan) works better than the standard chemotherapy dose for people over 60 with multiple myeloma who are getting a stem cell transplant. The goal is to see if this combination helps control the cancer more effectively and reduces side effects after the transplant. Researchers will measure how well the cancer responds and monitor the safety of the new approach.
