New hope for myeloma patients with kidney damage

NCT ID NCT04240054

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a new drug called isatuximab to a standard three-drug combination is safe and more effective for people newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma who also have kidney problems. The goal is to see if this four-drug treatment helps more patients achieve a deep response before and after a stem cell transplant. The trial is for adults who are eligible for a transplant and have not had much prior treatment for their myeloma.
