Experimental drug cocktail tested to fight returning blood cancer

NCT ID NCT03361306

Summary

This study tested a new combination of four drugs for people whose multiple myeloma had returned or stopped responding to one prior treatment. The goal was to see if this four-drug mix could reduce the amount of cancer in the body. After an initial intensive treatment phase, patients continued on a lower-dose maintenance therapy to try to keep the cancer under control for as long as possible.
