Summary
This study looked at whether giving a special nutritional drink to people who just had an ischemic stroke is practical and helpful. 24 adults took part, with some getting the drink plus standard care and others just standard care. The main goal was to see if a larger study could be done, not to prove the drink works. Results will guide future research on nutrition for stroke recovery.
