First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether music therapy, sometimes with the help of robots, can protect thinking skills and well-being in older adults. Over 200 healthy seniors and those with mild-to-moderate memory problems took part in 5 months of music sessions. Researchers measured changes in memory, attention, mood, and quality of life to see if music therapy works better than standard care.
