First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This pilot study tested whether older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) would enjoy and stick with a 12-week music training program, including piano lessons and home practice. Researchers wanted to see if the program is acceptable and feasible before planning a larger study. Nineteen participants took part, and the focus was on how many completed the program and their perceived benefits for emotional well-being and everyday memory.
