Music may soothe pain and stress during wound dressing

Summary

This study looks at whether playing music of a patient's choice during wound dressing can lower stress and make the experience better. About 50 hospitalized adults will be randomly assigned to either listen to music or receive standard care. Researchers will measure heart rate, blood pressure, and patient-reported pain to see if music helps.
