Can daily music playlists heal the brain after a stroke?
NCT ID NCT07432204
Summary
This study is testing whether listening to personalized music daily can help reduce anxiety and depression in people recovering from a recent stroke. About 132 participants will be randomly assigned to either receive standard care plus four weeks of daily music listening sessions, or standard care alone. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety, depression, quality of life, and brain activity using MRI scans to see if the music therapy makes a difference.
