Summary

This study looks at whether playing music can help children in the pediatric intensive care unit feel calmer and have more stable vital signs when their breathing tube is removed. About 82 children will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or standard care plus music therapy. Researchers will measure heart rate, breathing, oxygen levels, and blood pressure to see if music makes a difference.
