First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether listening to relaxing music with special verbal guidance can lower anxiety in young adults. 123 university students listened to music either with AI-generated culturally adapted suggestions, standard relaxation instructions, or no guidance at all. Anxiety, mood, and heart rate were measured before and after a single 25-30 minute session. The goal was to see if culturally tailored guidance makes music relaxation more effective.
