Music as medicine: new trial tests if tunes can beat addiction

Summary
This study tests whether music therapy can help people with substance use disorder reduce their addiction severity and improve their recovery. 600 adults from several European countries will be randomly assigned to active music-making, music listening, or standard treatment. The goal is to see if adding music to standard care leads to better long-term outcomes.
