Soothing flute music eases stress for expectant mothers in hospital test
NCT ID NCT07452861
Summary
This study tested whether listening to calming ney (flute) music during a routine pregnancy check-up could reduce a mother's anxiety. Researchers compared 126 pregnant women who either listened to music or received standard care during the test. They measured the mothers' anxiety, stress, blood pressure, and heart rate, as well as the baby's heart rate patterns, to see if the music made a difference.
