First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether listening to self-chosen Levantine music can change how much pressure pain a person can tolerate, compared to sitting in silence. Thirty-two healthy young adults in Lebanon will take part, each experiencing both silence and music in a random order. The goal is to see if music can be a simple, drug-free way to help manage pain.
