Summary

This study looks at whether listening to music and chewing gum can help women feel less pain and anxiety while getting stitches for an episiotomy (a cut made during childbirth). Sixty first-time mothers will be asked to rate their pain, anxiety, and satisfaction. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to make this procedure more comfortable.
