Music as medicine: tuning into less pain during abortion

Summary

This study tests whether listening to music during a first-trimester abortion procedure can lower pain and anxiety. About 176 women will be randomly assigned to either listen to their favorite songs through headphones or receive standard care. Researchers will measure pain and anxiety levels before, during, and after the procedure using simple rating scales.
