Summary
This small pilot study explored whether listening to music could help reduce cravings for opioids in people with opioid use disorder. Researchers tested 28 participants who were already receiving stable medication treatment for addiction. Participants either listened to music they chose or sat in silence, then viewed drug-related images while researchers measured changes in their cravings.
