Can a mozart sonata calm a Child's seizures?

NCT ID NCT05289934

Summary

This study is testing whether listening to recorded music, including a specific Mozart piece, can reduce the number of seizures and abnormal brain activity in children with epilepsy. Researchers at Johns Hopkins will have children aged 4 to 17 listen to music during their hospital stay while monitoring their brain waves. The goal is to see if music could become a simple, non-drug therapy to help manage seizures.
