Could jazz music be the new painkiller in hospital waiting rooms?
NCT ID NCT07391891
Summary
This study is testing if a short educational video about music for pain, followed by listening to jazz, can help reduce pain for adults waiting in the emergency room with neck or back pain. Researchers will compare this approach to a standard pain management video. The goal is to find safe, non-drug ways to help manage pain and potentially reduce the need for opioid medications.
