Can a song lull dementia to sleep? new app trial aims to soothe patients and caregivers
NCT ID NCT06088810
Summary
This study is testing whether a one-month music program, delivered through a phone app, can help people with dementia fall asleep faster and sleep better. It will also check if the music reduces stress for the family members who care for them. The researchers will enroll 144 people (72 patient-caregiver pairs) to try the app and measure changes in sleep and stress levels.
