NCT ID NCT07289516
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether playing music to women after a cesarean delivery can help reduce pain, increase comfort, and improve bonding with their baby. Sixty-two women who had C-sections were split into two groups: one listened to a specific type of music for 20 minutes twice after birth, while the other received standard care. Researchers measured pain, comfort, and mother-infant bonding to see if music made a difference.
