Can a buzzing leg band stop muscle wasting?
NCT ID NCT07021079
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, non-invasive vibration device applied to the leg muscles can help prevent the loss of strength and muscle control that happens when a leg is immobilized. Researchers will have healthy volunteers wear a device that keeps one leg inactive for 10 days, with some receiving daily muscle vibration therapy. They will measure changes in leg strength, balance, and nerve signals to see if the vibration treatment helps.
