Summary
This study tested a new combination treatment to rebuild leg muscles in people with spinal cord injury who have severe nerve damage. Researchers gave participants testosterone and used a special type of electrical stimulation designed to work on muscles that don't respond to standard therapy. The goal was to increase muscle size, improve body composition, and boost overall metabolic health over one year.
