This study tested whether a simple technique called progressive muscle relaxation training can reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in people affected by the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquake. 44 adults with PTSD took part. The training involves tensing and relaxing different muscle groups to calm the body and mind. The goal was to see if it improves PTSD symptoms, depression, anxiety, stress, and sleep quality.
