First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether a 12-week program of exercise and personalized diet advice can help prevent muscle loss in obese adults who are taking GLP-1 medications (like semaglutide) for weight loss. The researchers will measure changes in muscle mass, strength, and fitness in 20 participants aged 40-55. The goal is to find safe ways to preserve muscle and bone health during drug-induced weight loss.
