Summary
This study aims to understand why people with liver cirrhosis lose muscle mass. Researchers will use a new technique with special tracers and just one muscle biopsy to measure how muscle proteins are built up and broken down. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help develop future treatments for this common and debilitating complication.
