Simple scan could spot hidden muscle loss in cancer survivors
NCT ID NCT06007794
Summary
This study aims to see if a quick, non-invasive ultrasound scan of the thigh muscle can accurately detect muscle loss in people who have finished cancer treatment. Researchers will compare the ultrasound results to standard body scans and blood tests in 55 participants. The goal is to find a simpler way to spot this common side effect so it can be managed sooner.
